If you are planning on doing any shopping this weekend, particularly black Friday, please be aware that your debit card has a daily spending limit on it. If you do not know what that limit is, please check with the bank. You can temporarily raise your limit if you have a large purchase to make but you must call the bank during business hours before you plan to make that purchase. Also, please be aware of any activity you have on your account as this time of year has the most activity for fraud. You can access online banking, download the mobile app or have our phone number handy - 817-295-0461. If you do not have online banking set up, please do so on this link. We are hopeful that these tips will be helpful to our customers.
We will be closed on Thanksgiving and we will be closing early on Friday, November 28th, at 4pm. We will have our normal drive-thru hours on Saturday.

As a preemptive measure to protect our customers from the fraudulent activity occurring as a result of the security breach at Target stores and Michael's stores, the bank is cancelling and reissuing any debit cards that were used at either store during the time period in question. The bank will be making courtesy phone calls to affected customers. We appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please call customer service at 817-295-0461.
Throughout November and early December, our staff has been collecting donations benefitting both Harvest House’s Holiday Friends and Heart for the Kids’ Christmas Program to help feed families in need and provide toys and clothes to children. The red paper candy canes we had on the windows designated donations from contributors. As an annual tradition, employees of First National Bank of Burleson are encouraged to participate in the holiday fundraising campaigns. In addition to collecting monetary donations, the Bank “adopts” a family during Thanksgiving and then another family during Christmas. Employees will buy groceries and other necessities for each needy family to ensure they are not forgotten during the holiday season. Both locations also had angel trees with children needing toys for Christmas through the Holiday Friends campaign at Harvest House and through the Christmas Program at Heart for the Kids. Thank you to all of our customers and employees for your contributions!
The second annual "Battle for the Boot"
Through Heart for the Kids' Back to School Program, First National Bank of Burleson "adopted" two local sisters and bought all of their school supplies as well as school uniforms and clothes from head to toe. For more information on Heart for the Kids or their Back to School Program, click here.
