Throughout November and early December, the staff at First National Bank of Burleson has been collecting donations benefitting both Harvest House’s Holiday Friends and Heart for the Kids’ Christmas Program to help feed families in need and provide toys to children. If you have walked into the bank or come through the motor bank, the red paper candy canes on the windows designated donations from contributors like you. As an annual tradition, employees of First National Bank of Burleson are encouraged to participate in the holiday fundraising campaigns. In addition to collecting monetary donations, the Bank “adopts” a family during Thanksgiving and then another family during Christmas. Employees will buy groceries and other necessities for each needy family to ensure they are not forgotten during the holiday season. Both FNBB locations, Alsbury @ I-35 and the Wilshire branch, also had angel trees with children needing toys for Christmas through the Holiday Friends campaign at Harvest House and through the Christmas Program at Heart for the Kids.
